My Freshman Year

Freshman year had gone by in a breeze. Sam Werneke is the coolest freshman out there. He is very smart and did many extra curricular activities. He was very active in school and had lots of fun. He played soccer in the fall and had lots of fun. He did nothing in the winter but did a  lot in the spring. Sam was the star player on the JV Tennis team in the spring. It was funny when Sam was rolling backwards in a chair and flipped. He looked hurt but got back up and was good. Sam had Mr. Perry who was the scariest teacher he said he ever had. He also thought Mr. Perry was the best.

Other than having fun, Sam had a great academic year too. He got lots of good grades and got honors for all quarters. He is very smart and thinks that John Carroll was the right place for him to go to. He made many new friends and was able to do many things. He learned new things in many of his classes. He especially liked Mr.Wojo's class. He liked it because it really let him use his computer for better learning. Sam learned many new things in his class and found cool things you can do with his laptop. Sam also really liked his Health and Gym class. He thought it was really fun and had good times in both classes.

Sam felt the laptops this year really helped him develop good habits in getting homework done. He also kept the best notes he had ever done in a class. He says "the Laptop really contributed to my good grades...". Sam thinks that if he had not used a laptop high school would have been to much to handle. He loves his advisory and had so much fun with them. From scategories to a memorable Superbowl party they did it all. Sam had many enjoyable moments this year and felt his freshman year was great.
