How was the Struggle of the Orders influential on later Roman politics?
The Struggle has influenced the Roman politics in many ways. First it affected the way Romans made decisions. The Plebes, which made up majority of the society, had one seat in the whole entire senate. They made the job up after the Plebes decided to rebel. They did it to stop a revolution. The job was the Tribune of the Plebeians, he spoke for all of the Plebeians, and he was able to veto any laws. With this power in society, meant that there would be less laws against the plebeians, which gave them more rights. This is similar to the our Checks and Balance system in America. This helped stop the revolution in newly formed Rome. This is how the Struggle of Orders helped make Rome better.
