Egypt and Greece both honored their dead but they did it in two different ways. When the Greeks buried someone they believed the spirit would leave them. The greeks buried people in a three part manner. First they would have the laying of the body and would allow vases to be brought to honor the dead. In contrast the Egyptians would mummify the body and lay them in a tomb and if you were emperor they would put you in a Pyramid. They would also send you body down a river.
They were different but also the same. Because they both honored the dead and respected them. They both held ceremonies and believed in an afterlife for the deceased. Also they buried them with their own possessions. They all had great respect for the dead and honored everyone.
