Water was very important to people in the ancient world. Any place close to water was generally an area with fertile soil and has lots of water. With this connection people in ancient world could plant and have cities built around these agricultural area. With the areas supported with water they could build civilizations and countries. Water also creates civilizations that can fish. Fishing communities can lead into different water front industries to bring income to the town.Fish can be used for food and other resources. You can use the fish bones and make tools and weapons.Civilizations built off water should be more successful compared to one built in the middle of the dessert. Fishing communities can bring food to them selves with allow them to expand and get resources they didn't have. Water is a great defense against the meanies that try to attack you. Water front countries also make out better when it comes to trading witrh other people. They can also have water defense which would help protect them. Also with water they could travel to others and could pick up new ideas or inventions. They could also find new culture and ways to make food. When you find new culture you can take it over and gain new land and enslave the new culture. You could make them into your personal servants and make them make your own food. The slaves could make boats and help you advance in your culture.
